For those of you who don’t know, YRC is an acronym for YourRacingCar.com. We’re a fan funded racing team that have supported five British racing drivers in the past three seasons on the legendary British Touring Car Championship package.
We set up YRC because we love the gladiatorial battle that is touring cars and we wanted to be part of the action too. We told everyone we knew about our idea, asked them to tell everyone they knew and so on and so on. Four years later and we’re still on the grid with the pictures of all those friends and friends of friends adorning the roof of our race car!
The YRC Dome is our bonkers solution to the next problem we encountered. Somewhere to sit. It’s a rather elaborate umbrella and deck chair but we’ve got a lot of new friends now so it’s very necessary. So if you want somewhere to shelter from the wind, the rain or the sunshine, or to rest your weary feet, with a hot brew or two and some great food, book in to the Dome and find out what makes motor racing fun. It’s BTCC hospitality by any other description!
